Overview

  1. The Drafting Dynamics event challenges participants with two rounds of 2D and 3D drawing, ending in creating a functional mechanism.
  2. Participating in this event can enhance CAD skills and provide a competitive edge in the field.

Round 1

  1. In this First Round 2-D Drawing will be provided to every participant and within stipulated time.
  2. Judging criteria will be based on total time taken, dimensional accuracy, labelling and appearance.

Final Round

  1. In this round participant will be provided with drawing of mechanism. They have to make it using their 3-D software.
  2. Judging criteria will be total time taken, working, accuracy and appearance.

Rules

  1. Pre-registration is compulsory for participating in this competition.
  2. This competition is open to students from Undergraduate technical students of any branch and any college/ institute in Gujarat
  3. To participate in CAD modelling, you must bring your own laptop.
  4. You are allowed to use Auto CAD software during the event.
  5. It is mandatory for participants to be present at the reporting time.
  6. Participants must submit their work within the given time limit.
  7. Any participant caught misbehaving or seeking help from the internet or their mobile phone will be disqualified.
  8. Organizers will have the authority to change the rules under certain circumstance during the event.
  9. The decision of the NTD-2023 judges for these competitions will be final and binding and no queries regarding this will be entertained.

  3. Working lunch will be provided to the qualifying participants
